About
I am a VCU Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Since getting my degree I have gained experience in Bootstrap, C#, CSS, GIT, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Mongoose, PHP, and SQL.
For over three years I worked as a Web Developer at a company in Mechanicsville, VA. Currently I am contracted as an Info Systems Support Tech with Virginia Correctional Enterprises. My focus recently has been on utilizing the Mongoose Framework
to Develop Customizations inside Infor Syteline. I also have been exploring AWS in preparation for a potential move of Applications to the Cloud.

This Site was orginally created in 2015 as a Midterm Exam for a Web Design course I took. The goal of exam was to take pages we had created in class
and make them our own. We were to also add pages that were our own idea. I decided to redo the entire site to improve the design,
and making the pages dynamic now that I have more experience in Web Development.
Anyone further improvements have been postponed while I focus on projects more useful for my career. I hope to return to this project one day, and add more improvements.
This is a project originally came about as I began making my way through an course on Angular.
Ultimately the goal is there for to be a list of recipes that can be created, modified, viewed and shared.
The recipes will contain the list of ingredients, and the instructions for preparing the recipe.
Eventually the ingredients will be able to be added to an existing or new shopping list.
This is quick project did I uses multiple API's to achieve the desired functionality. By passing the zip code to the OpenWeatherMap API the current weather
data is obtained without reloading the page. This information includes the current temperature, wind speed, and whether it's cloud, sunny, or rainy. I also get the time for
sunrise and sunset, but this data is transformed using the Google Maps API to display the times in the correct timezone. Google's Timezone API is no longer free so that functionality
is not working until I can find a replacement.
